The 21st “TOUEN (Peach blossom banquet)” since its inception in 2001 will be held at the “Kasama Craft Hill” in the Kasama Geijutsunomori Park and various other stores in the city, exhibiting hina dolls and holding workshops. The festival will feature a number of highly accomplished dolls, ranging from traditional pieces to those with unique ideas and welcomes the visitors.
To coincide with this event, Kyoko Kashimura will exhibit her dolls at the Craft Gallery in the Kasama Craft Hill from January 20 to February 28.
Please enjoy the world of soft and lovely hina dolls that are imbued with her unique sensitivity.
Prior to this, Kashimura is also planning to participate in the “Pottery Hina Dolls Exhibition” to be held from January 1 to March 3 at the Ceramic Art Kilala-kan, a gallery that specializes in Kasama-yaki pottery and other works by artists from all over Japan.
